Huntington Junior College hereby designates Categories I and II of student information as public or “Directory Information.” Such information may be disclosed by the institution for any purpose, at its discretion.
Name, address, telephone number, dates of attendance, and academic awards and honors.
Previous institution(s) attended, major fields of study, degree(s) and diploma(s) conferred (including dates).
Relevant education information is attendance and academic achievements. Category III defines relevant educational information and may be released by Huntington Junior College to potential employers of students utilizing our placement services.
Currently enrolled students may withhold disclosure of any category of information under Family Educational Rights and Privacy. To withhold disclosure, written notification must be received in the Office of the Associate Director. Forms requesting the withholding of this information are available in the Associate Director’s Office. Huntington Junior College assumes that failure on the part of any student to specifically request the withholding of any category indicates individual approval for disclosure.
